The company ACTV provides public transportation in the Greater Venice region which includes boat- and ferry services in the historic town itself, and bus services on the mainland. The bus fleet consists of 600 buses that together travel about 31.5 Million Asus ROG GL551 AC Adapter kilometers each year. In addition to the bus lines on the mainland there is also bus service available in the Lido ad Mestre parts of Venice. Fares for a single bus ride are € 1.30 if the ticket was purchased in advance and € 2.50, if it was purchased on the bus. This ticket price included changes; however a new ticket needs to be purchased for the return direction. There are discount ticket books available for €11 that contain tickets for 10 rides. Especially useful for tourists are timed tickets that are valid for are half a day, a whole day or several days and that include the entire service area including the boat and ferry service.
