The bus network in Paris is as easy to use as the underground train network. When you’re navigation around the city buses are a great addition to the other forms of transport, and with more than 58 different bus lines going through the city, the public bus system is one of the most developed kinds of public transport in the city. It’s really easy to use, too.

Simply find yourself a map of the bus system, which can be found at bus shelters. You’ll find that most of the bus routes run from 6:30am and stop at roughly 9pm, meaning that they’re a great form of transport during the day time. The trains run a lot later than the buses, so the Metro system is probably better for nights out.

The tickets from the Metro can also be used for the buses, too, so if you purchase a day pass then you will be able to travel on the two kinds of transport at no extra cost!
